“The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference”

I just was very intrigued by the above quote today which I stumbled on.  Can It be more true?  The worst way to treat a person is to ignore his existence. If you hate him, You still acknowledge his existence, which still is better than being indifferent to him.

If you start ignoring a person, Thats the worst thing you can do for your relation.  The relation no more exists to be more harmed than it already is.

  2. Umm, a food for thought. Though the holistic view would state so, but in reality its the former which always hits one’s instinct. Primary reason, I can think of are ‘Expectations’ and ‘Conditional Love’ . Put to perspective more than hating the person he or she is, you tend to hate the reality that struck you because of the parameters of love, which ever so often builds in, self.

Hey, I suppose it just means not to be consumed with hatred.. There are a lot more people who are worser than the one you hate, but you don’t know them; you are indifferent to them. I suppose one needs to do the same- not to let your head n heart be wasted on hatred.

It’s all about our well being, not about making somebody feel worse off.
